The OLED are working!
after the hard final run of soldering directly in the museum and building the wood frames for them, we can hang them on the wall.
Flying to Seville/Spain
This morning I and Julian flying to Sevilla in Spain to build the Aland installation. We hope that all the parts (lots of monitors and PCs) are not broken by the transport and we get working internet there.
PCB Boards
the custom PCB boards we need to controll the small OLED displays arrived just today. Now we only need to populate them and cross our fingers that there is no bug inside.
PixelBeamer Alpha1
Wenn sich ultra helle LEDs mit ein wenig Elektronik mischen… Zur diesjährigen GPN6 habe ich ein LED Beamer gebaut. Der Name PixelBeamer Alpha1 ist auf das noch nicht ganz ausgereifte Gehäuse bestehend aus einem Getränkekasten zurückzuführen. Ich werde demnächst noch weitere Fotos und technische Daten hier veröffentlichen.

Paraflows I
Mgr und Ich sind zur Paraflows nach Wien eingeladen. Unser 3D Cubus bekommt noch ein schönes neues Gehäuse verpasst. Das alte Plexiglas ist sehr verkratzt und auch nicht ganz gerade gesägt. Also baue ich einen Sockel aus Buchenholz, der die Elektronik aufnehmen soll und säge neues Plexiglas zu.

endlich habe ich es geschafft mein neues Kunstblog einzurichten. Hier werde ich über meine künstlerische Arbeit und über befreundete Künstler berichten.

LED Cube modeller
Passend gibt es dazu ein Programm, mit dem man Animationen zusammenklicken kann. Von anderen Programmen generierte Animationen können eingelesen und nachbearbeitet werden. (Es gibt bereits mit Ruby, Perl und Common Lisp erstellte Animationen!) Der cube modeller ist in Common Lisp unter Verwendung von CL-SDL geschrieben, um den Kubus auch schön per OpenGL darstellen zu können. […]
